The flagship Company of the Group B & A Limited was incorporated in 1915 as Barasali Tea Company with the object of taking over & running Barasali Tea Estate from it's the than owners The Grob Tea Company Limited.
Presently the Company has 6 Tea Estates in Assam - Salkathoni, Mokrung, Gatoonga, Barasali, Kuhum and Sangsua. Additionally the Company manages Borting and Govindapur Tea Estate as also the Tea Factory of Aidaupukhuri Tea Estate [by way of lease holding].
All its Estates are located in the prime quality belt on the "South Bank" of Assam spanning the Districts of Golaghat, Jorhat and Sibsagar. All its 4 Manufacturing Units at Salkathoni, Gatoonga, Mokrung and Sangsua are HACCP certified and equipped with state of the art machinery.
About 6 million kgs of processed Tea churned out from the above named units have over the years become synonymous with super premium Quality Tea and has developed a niche for itself amongst the connoisseurs within the country and overseas as well.
